| How much will my site cost? As discussed on the pricing page, costs are extremely hard to quote until we know what you want and need. A WebSite including simple graphics, programing and basic search engine optimization generally costs between $100 to $300 per page. Professional WebSites are worth what you pay for them if you're serious about attracting business with your Website. You can certainly help us cut costs by supplying materials you may already have. (Pictures, flyers, logos, etc.) |
| What types of Sites do you design? We have designed many types of sites, simple one page designs to E-Commerce with their own Shopping Cart. Please see our Client Gallery for a few links and thumbnails of our past work. |
| How will I view my site while it is being designed? Until we have your Domain Name and WebHost set up, we will post your work in progress on a subdomain on our site. You will be provided with a link so you may view it as often as you would like. Or we can put your site on your server, if you already have one. Whichever you prefer. |
| May I make changes to the Site Design? Of course, we believe in total involvement from start to finish. We encourage clients to give us imput on all facets of their site design. Keep in mind, however, if you request too many changes after a design has been approved, it will affect timing and may incur additional charges |
| What is your firm's idea of a good site? We believe that a client's site should reflect the tone of their company or interest. We believe a site should be easy to read and navigate. Consistent in layout with a reasonable download time. We believe, if our client is delighted with their site, its a good site! |
| What information will you require from me? 1. We will need to know your purpose for your site. Will your purpose be information only or do you want to sell a product directly to a customer. 2. We will want to know what you would like to display on your site. 3. We will need to know a tentative name for your Site and Domain Name. (Have a couple of alternatives. Your first choice is not always available.) 4. We will ask if you have pictures, logos, flyers,etc you would like to include on your site. We will need access to these items as soon as possible. 5. We will ask if you will want automatic forms to receive feedback/orders, or a guestbook. Will you require a Shopping Cart system? These are just a few of the things we will discuss with you in our initial consultation. |
| What is a Maintenance Contract? You will need to decide how to handle possible price or product changes, adding/updating pages, updating of links and images, site statistics, etc. With a Maintenance Contract, your Web Designer becomes part of your team. Of course, you will receive this service free for 6 months with your Completed Site Design. |
